QUEEN, MADE IN HEAVEN. BAND. TABLATURE

For Made in Heaven the three surviving members assembled to complete songs recorded by Freddie shortly before his death in 1991. A collection of their most personal songs it featured Freddie’s last ever vocal performance ‘Mother Love’. It was awarded a Triple Platinum award becoming their most successful album, and spawned five top twenty hit singles. The CD ends with a poignant twenty-two minute farewell to Freddie.

Did You Know?
1. The first edition promo copies of Made In Heaven have extra backing vocals using the main line from the soul classic -Take Another Little Piece Of My Heart’. They had to be removed due to legal reasons .
2. BBC Radio One ‘banned’ ‘Let Me Live’ from the air waves-despite this it still reached No.9 in the UK singles chart.
3. The inlay of the album sleeve featured favourite photos of the remaining band members with Freddie Mercury.
4. Special films were made by a British film institute to accompany Made In Heaven and were funded soley by Queen at a cost of £500,000.
5. Track three on Made In Heaven, Let Me Live, actually started out with Rod Stewart on vocals.
